Chris Morgan

The Captain Chris Morgan grew up in Norwalk, attending St. Paul High School. He was a senior on the 2009 State Championship football team for the Flyers, while also wrestling and running track all through high school.

After graduation, he took some time off from school to figure out what he wanted to do with his life, working retail at the local Walmart in the meantime. He eventually decided to apply to Muskingum University in New Concord, Ohio after being urged to by a friend. Once he got on campus he got involved in media right away, becoming a DJ on the student-run campus radio station WMCO. He eventually added television and newspaper journalism to his activities. During his time in Orbit Media, the combined media group of WMCO, Orbit TV, and The Black & Magenta newspaper, he served in various management positions, including Program Director for WMCO his junior year, Sports Director for WMCO for two-and-a-half years, along with Editor-in-Chief of the B&M his senior year.

Chris considers himself a bit of a sports buff, to put it mildly, cheering on the Cleveland Cavaliers and Indians, along with the New England Patriots (he knows, he knows) and the Pittsburgh Penguins in hockey. When it comes to major college action, he looks no further than THE Ohio State Buckeyes.

He enjoys a vast variety of music, but his favorite artists are Linkin Park, Marianas Trench, and All Time Low.
