Huron-Erie County/Search for Sheppard’s body

Law enforcement officials began their search Thursday morning for the body of Perkins Township’s Michael Sheppard Jr., who was reportedly killed in May of 2003.

One of the three men charged with murder in Sheppard’s death, Joshua Stamm of Florida, pled guilty Monday to involuntary manslaughter after taking a plea deal; which included information on what supposedly occurred the night of Sheppard’s death.

Stamm reportedly told officials that Sheppard was shot multiple times with his body buried in the Fox Lane area; off U.S. 250 between Norwalk and Milan, close to the Huron-Erie County line…following an attempted marijuana sale.

The trials for the other two murder suspects, Scott Hall of Clyde and Adam White of Sandusky, are scheduled for December.
