Norwalk/Robber of Circle K pleads guilty

A man has been convicted in last year’s robbery of the Circle K in Norwalk.

29-year-old Timothy Moore has plead guilty to a count of robbery after authorities say he walked into the gas station with a baseball bat last March and demanded cash.


Collins/Home destroyed in fire, no one hurt

A fire reportedly gutted the home of a Collins family on Tuesday.

No one was home as the early morning blaze caused significant damage to the house on Hartland Center Road.

Officials believe the fire was started by a wood burner or something electrical.


Sandusky/No injuries in school bus accident

No injuries reported from a school bus accident Tuesday morning in Sandusky…

Police say a car driven by 18-year-old Clabe Taylor sustained front-end damage after rear-ending the bus on Milan Road and Scott Street.

The bus received minor damage.


Willard/Woman sent to prison for child endangerment

A woman from Willard has been sentenced to two-and-a-half years in prison for child endangerment.

41-year-old Rachel Bryant of Pearl Street plead guilty to the charge in January after a reported incident last November.


New London/Police conduct drug raid

No arrests have been made yet from an executed search warrant last week in New London.

Authorities are having several suspected drug items tested, including possible cocaine and heroin, after the raid last Thursday evening at a home on North Main Street.


Sandusky/YMCA receives large donation

The Sandusky YMCA has announced it has received $6 million of the $11 million needed to build a new facility.

A big part of that money coming from the Dorn Foundation.

The $11 million would be used to build a two-level, 42,000 square-foot complex close to Sports Force Parks on Cleveland Road.

The YMCA says they’ll know by May 1st if the new facility can be constructed.


Norwalk/Fisher-Titus receives national attention

An honor going out to Fisher-Titus Medical Center…

The Chartis Center of Rural Health has selected the Norwalk hospital to be included on their list of the top 100 rural and community hospitals in the nation.

Fisher-Titus is one of four healthcare facilities in Ohio to be on the list.
