The Edison wrestling team are Division 3 State Champions…
-They captured the title on Sunday in the State Dual Team Championships in Columbus; defeating Waynedale in the finals.   
-In Division 2, Bellevue was eliminated in the semi-finals; after beating Perkins in the quarterfinals.

The NBA All-Star Game was held Sunday in Chicago…
-Team LeBron defeated Team Giannis 157-155; following a free throw by Lakers’ star Anthony Davis.
-The newly named Kobe Bryant All-Game MVP Award went to the Clippers’ Kawhi Leonard, who scored 30 points.

In NBA news, the John Beilein era might be over in Cleveland after virtually just half a season…                                                             

-ESPN is reporting that Beilein might step down during the All-Star break; although nothing has been confirmed.

In women’s college hoops, Ohio State defeated #20 Indiana on Sunday…
-The Buckeyes outscored the Hoosiers 80-76 on the road. 

In the NHL Sunday night, Columbus fell in an OT shootout at New Jersey…
-The Devils topped the Blue Jackets 4-3. 

An update on injured Cleveland Indians’ pitcher Mike Clevinger…
-The team said over the weekend that Clevinger underwent arthroscopic knee surgery and is estimated to return to Major League game activity in 6 to 8 weeks. 

In NASCAR, the 62nd edition of the Daytona 500 was halted by rain on Sunday after just 20 laps…
-The race will be resumed today at 4:00 pm; and can be heard in its entirety on K96.
