A motorcycle accident has claimed a Berlin Heights man.
62-year-old Dale Brundage was driving on Mason Road, near Frailey Road in Berlin Township early yesterday morning, when his Harley hit a deer. Brundage was thrown from the bike, and was pronounced dead at the scene. He wasn’t wearing a helmet.
State Route 60, at Route 162 in downtown New London is closed until further notice, due to a structural issue with a building at that corner.
Village officials said the building is decaying, and could come down. The building in question houses the Pizza Explosion.

A Middleburg Heights man is facing drug charges, after he was caught with 30 pounds of marijuana in his car.
Jason Powell was arrested Wednesday night, along I-71 in Ashland County. The highway patrol said the pot was discovered, after Powell was pulled over for driving without tail lights. He remains in the Ashland County Jail.
