NASCAR’s Xfinity Series had their turn at Bristol last night…

-Noah Gragson was last night’s winner followed by Chase Briscoe and Brandon Jones.

-The NASCAR Cup Series is back in action on Sunday at Atlanta.

 

The latest on MLB’s negotiations on a restart of the season…

-The MLB player’s union has proposed a 114 game season with full prorated salaries, after an original offer by the owners in March of an 82 game season with salary reductions.

-Owners reportedly have a 50 game season proposal to offer players as a last resort if negotiations fizzle.

 

As the NBA’s plan to restart includes 22 teams to play at the ESPN Disney Wide World of Sports complex in Orlando moves along, some owners want all 30 teams involved in the restart plan…

-The reasoning is that those 8 teams would then not play for 9 months and could hurt player development, sponsorship deals and ticket sales moving forward.

-Haley Kramer of the Wheeling Jesuit University volleyball team has been named the Mountain East Conference Female Scholar Athlete of the Year.
