The Cleveland Indians routed the Cincinnati Reds last night, 13-0, at Progressive Field…

-The Tribe blew the game wide open with 10 runs in the 7th inning.

-Jose Ramirez hit a pair of homers, a solo shot in the 1st inning and a 2-run blast in the 7th.  Ramirez drove in 4 runs on the night.

-Cesar Hernandez also knocked in 3 runs for the Indians.

-The Indians won 3 in a row against the Reds; capturing the Ohio Cup.

-Cleveland heads to Chicago tonight to start a 3-game series against the White Sox.  First pitch at 8:10 pm (pregame 7:35 pm on WLKR).

-Columbus topped Toronto 4-3 in OT last night

-The Blue Jackets rallied back from a 3-0 second period deficit to score 4 unanswered goals.

-CBJ lead series 2-1, with Game 4 set for tonight at 8:00 pm.

The rivalry is alive and well between Ohio State and ‘That Team Up North’…

-In a conference call this week, Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh accused Ohio State of holding on-field coaching prior to the official date for it…with OSU head coach Ryan Day reportedly telling his team that he hopes there’s a mercy rule when the two teams play in October, cause his team is going to hang 100 points on them.
The NASCAR schedule heats up this weekend…

-The Truck Series races tonight at Michigan (6:00 pm)

-The Xfinity Series heads to Road America in Wisconsin on Saturday afternoon (12 noon).

-The NASCAR Cup Series takes to Michigan both Saturday and Sunday at 3:00 pm each day, both live on sister-station K96.
