I’m a lifelong Norwalk resident, except for the college years.
I started at WLKR part-time in August of 1990, doing play-by-play broadcasts of high school football and basketball games. I became full-time in January of 1991, selling radio ads, and working weekends on-air.
The odessey continued in October of 1992, when I switched to the news department, and became News Director. My duties as Sports Director were added in 1994. In 2002, I added Morning Show co-host to the list.
My family includes wife Liz, daughter Ashley, cats KittyCat, Zeus and Pepper and dog Chelsea, also known as the Barking Rat.
I’m currently a member of the Norwalk and EHOVE Boards of Education.
I’m an avid fan of high school sports, Ohio State athletics, and the Cleveland Browns, Cavaliers and Indians.
When I have spare time, I enjoy reading, and I’m a big history buff.
There’s one more thing, and some people say I shouldn’t admit this…But I”m not ashamed to admit I’m a Barry Manilow fan!
Thanks for stopping by, and thanks for listening to WLKR!
